It’s Wednesday, here’s what’s making news this week:
- What are the most undervalued leadership traits of women? According to Glenn Llopis, a Forbes contributing writer, the ability to multitask and well-roundedness, or “circular vision,” are two traits that women often have and that should be valued more in the workplace. Read more here.
- GoldieBlox made history Sunday with its 30-second ad during the Super Bowl. The company makes toys and books aimed at getting young girls interested in STEM and their founder, Debbie Sterling, will be speaking at our 3rd Annual Summit. Read more here.
- Women are just as ambitious men, and in some cases more, according to a new survey released by consulting firm McKinsey & Company. Eighty-three percent of women surveyed wanted to advance to the next level of their organizations, while only 74% of men do.
